Another great day, not too much to report. I am in Nazca now, famous from the massive lines in the earth. They can only been seen from the sky, and as the beast is capable of many things, but not flying, no pictures of that. Above some guys playing soccer in the mud.
Dessert town, I got pulled over for speeding here, and I did, so I had to pay a fine. I could pay at the bank, or at the men in blue. At the bank, 36 dollar, the men wanted 10. I know it is not correct, but it saved me a lot of trouble. I did take it a bit slower, but it is strange here, one moment it is 60, then 90, then 80, there are so many signs.
I also drove trough Lima, 7 million people life there. I think they were all on the road when I drove trough.
One moment I ride in the dessert, the next moment it is all green
View from the roof of my hotel, these guys must have some serious reception. Every taxi that drives around here honks his horn about every 3 seconds, so it is a very noise town.
My bike is once again parked in the lobby of the hotel. So nice. I did 751 kilometers today! Tomorrow I go to Ollantaytamba, the gateway to Macchu Picchu. Back to the mountains, with a pass of 4360 meters! Let's see how I do without oxygen.
Awesome, Steve.
